Aurient by Gold Line Services Inc.

Terms of use

Takes effect 1 November 2026 · Version 1

These terms are the agreement between your business and Gold Line Services Inc. for using Aurient. Please read them before you sign up.

In short: you pay monthly for what you use, VAT included. Your records stay yours and you can leave any time. If a bill goes unpaid, Aurient first reminds you, then goes read-only, then pauses. Aurient is a tool: your business decisions and tax filings stay your own.

1This agreement

Aurient is made and run by Gold Line Services Inc., a company registered in Barbados (“Gold Line”, “we”). When you sign up, you agree to these terms for your business (“you”), and you confirm that you're allowed to agree on its behalf. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of this agreement.

2Your account

  • Give true details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
  • You choose who in your business uses Aurient and what each person can do. You're responsible for what they do in it.
  • Keep passwords, two-step codes and till PINs private. Tell us straight away at info@goldline-services.com if you think someone has got into your account.

3The free trial

A new company gets a free trial (14 days, unless the sign-up page says otherwise). No card is needed. When the trial ends, Aurient carries on and billing starts from that day for the modules you have on. Nothing you entered is lost.

4Prices, bills and VAT

  • Prices are in US dollars a month, for the whole company however many people use it. They include VAT at the Barbados rate (17.5% today).
  • We bill on the 1st of each month for the month before. Each module is charged for the days it was on. The assistant is charged by use, and you can set a monthly limit.
  • Each bill is due 14 days after it's issued. Pay online with PayPal or a card, or another way we agree. Every bill and receipt is a VAT invoice.
  • We may change prices. Your company keeps its current price unless we give you at least 30 days' notice by email first.

5Paying late

Days overdueWhat happens
1 to 6A reminder by email
7 to 13A warning in Aurient and by email
14 to 29Read-only: you can see everything, but nothing new can be entered
30 or morePaused: only admins who handle billing can sign in, to pay

Paying puts everything back at once. Your records are never deleted for paying late. If you need more time, ask us before it's due.

6Your data

  • Your business's records belong to your business. You allow us to keep and process them only to run Aurient for you.
  • You can export your records at any time.
  • You're responsible for having the right to put other people's information (your customers, staff) into Aurient.
  • When you close your company, you can download everything first; after a 7-day wait everything is deleted. Gold Line keeps its own bills and receipts to you as tax law requires.

7Using Aurient fairly

Don't use Aurient for anything illegal, to send spam, or to store things you have no right to. Don't try to get into other companies' records, break or overload the system, copy or take apart its software, or resell it without our written agreement.

8The assistant

The assistant answers questions and suggests changes. It can be wrong, so check what it says before you rely on it. It never changes anything without a person approving it, and the person who approves a change is responsible for it.

9Your business is yours to run

Aurient keeps your records and works out figures such as VAT, stock value and reports from what's entered. It isn't accounting, tax or legal advice. Your business is responsible for its own decisions, prices, tax returns and filings; check them before you submit them. The practice company is for learning: nothing done there affects your real records.

10Keeping Aurient running

We work to keep Aurient available and your records safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may need to stop it briefly for updates, usually outside business hours. The till keeps selling without the internet and catches up when it's back. We may improve or change features over time.

11Other services

Some features use other companies' services, such as PayPal for your customers' pay-now links. Their own terms apply between you and them, and we aren't responsible for those services.

12Who owns what

Aurient, its software, design and name belong to Gold Line. These terms let you use it while your company subscribes; they don't transfer ownership. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely.

13Limits on our responsibility

Aurient is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Gold Line isn't responsible for lost profits or business, or for indirect losses. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what your company paid us for Aurient in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

You agree to cover Gold Line's costs if someone makes a claim against us because of what your business put into Aurient or how it used it against these terms.

14Ending

  • You can stop at any time: switch modules off, or close your company under Admin. You pay for the days used up to then.
  • We may pause or end your use of Aurient if bills stay unpaid (section 5) or if you seriously break these terms. Unless the law or a risk to others stops us, we'll warn you first and give you time to put it right and to download your records.

15Changes

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we'll email your admins and show a notice in Aurient at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Aurient after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can close your company before then.

16Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Barbados, and the courts of Barbados deal with any dispute. Before going to court, we'll each try to settle it by talking first.
