What’s new in Aurient

Aurient gets better every week. Updates arrive on their own; there is nothing to install.

November 2026

  • Website and speed. New pages for every industry and Caribbean country we serve, a blog, and a faster website.
  • Card machine check at closing. Closing the till now asks for the card machine's end-of-day total next to the cash count, shows both against what the till recorded, and needs a note when the card total is off. Differences show on the cash-up slip, the Till shifts and Till exceptions reports, and the home page.
  • A name for the order. Each till can ask the customer's name after the sale, coffee-shop style. It prints on the receipt and shows on the kitchen screen.
  • Headings that stay in view. Table headings and the top bar stay at the top while you scroll long lists.
  • 3D warehouse. See your racks and bins in 3D, drag to turn and zoom, and follow the picking walk on a map.
  • Wireless warehouse. Pick, pack and put away with a phone or scanner: pick lists in walking order, scan to confirm the right item and bin, labelled boxes, and a live view of every run.

October 2026

  • Cash drawer watch. The Android till app notices when the drawer opens and asks about any opening outside a sale.
  • Developers. The Aurient API with keys per company, a test mode, every endpoint documented, and webhooks with signed messages.
  • Privacy policy and terms of use. Published, with each company's acceptance recorded.
  • Dispatch. Runs made from route areas, route picking lists in delivery order, load sheets and load checks, a driver screen, van check-in, and driver cash applied to invoices in one go.
  • The till. Cash rounding, a customer screen on a second monitor or tablet, barcode labels on sheets or rolls, and a barcode on the receipt that opens the sale when scanned.
  • The till opens without the internet. The till app opens and keeps selling even when the shop's internet is down.
  • Process Flow. Every sales and purchasing record shows each step from start to finish, through to the ledger.
  • Kitchens for counter service. Daily order numbers on the receipt and the kitchen ticket; stock leaves only when the food is served.
  • Payments. Reverse or move a customer payment with a reason, refunds from a customer's account, and credit notes on their own.
  • Two-step sign-in, bank reconciliation, multi-currency and VAT returns. Plus dozens of smaller improvements across the system.
